Alert - Increase in theft from motor vehicles.

Good Morning,

The beat team are urging residents of Braunstone Town and Thorpe Astley to be vigilant after a noted increase in reporting of theft from motor vehicles since the start of June.

Please insure your vehicles are locked and no valuables are left on display and try to keep high value items inside your address.

Vans are particularly vulnerable as they are targeted for high value tools and equipment.

Please report any suspicious activity you see straight away so we are aware and can target our patrols in the right areas.

The most recent areas of concern at the moment are the Freeboard Road/ Brockenhurst Drive of Braunstone Town with two vehicles targeted in the past week.

The beat team will be conducting enquires in the these reports. If you see us please feel free to stop us and report any concerns you might have.
